Prof Dr Ahmet Çelik was born in Gaziantep in 1969 and completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Gaziantep. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. After completing his Pediatric Surgery Specialization training at the same university in 1998, he started to work as an Assistant Professor in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Surgery in 2000 after his military service. In 2005, he worked as a research assistant for 8 months at UAB Children's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. He received the title of Associate Professor of Pediatric Surgery in 2006 and the title of professor in 2013. He still continues his clinical, research and educational studies as a professor at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Surgery. prof. Dr. Ahmet Çelik is married and has two children, a boy and a girl.
Prof. Dr. Başak Doğanavşargil Yakut was born in 1973 in Ankara. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and completed her Medical Pathology residency training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Pathology between 1998-2002. She was appointed Assistant Professor in 2006, Associate Professor in 2008, and Professor in 2015. In 2008, she was an observer pathologist at the Netherlands Utrecht University Pathology Department for three months. Her main field of study is Gastrointestinal Canal Pathology and Bone pathology. Başak Doğanavşargil is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Aegean Pathology Association, and European Society of Pathology. He served as a member of the Aegean Pathology Association Board of Directors, E.U. Cancer Control Application and Research Center Board Member, Pathology Societies Federation Locomotor System Working Group and Gastrointestinal Working Group coordinator, Medical Pathology National Proficiency Examination Commission member, Turkish Pathology Journal Editorial board member. Currently working at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Pathology, Dr. Doğanavşargil speaks English, is married and has two children.
Prof. Dr. Şöhret Aydemir was born in İzmir in 1966. She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. She completed his specialization education in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology between 1994-1998, and started to work as a specialist in the same department. She received the title of associate professor in 2006 and professor in 2012.
Her main areas of interest are bacteriology, antibacterial resistance and surveillance. TR. She is a member of the Ministry of Health's National Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance (UAMDS) Scientific Commission. World Health Organization and T.C. Since 2007, she has worked as a trainer in many trainings given to specialists and technicians in the "Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases Project" jointly carried out by the Ministry of Health Refik Saydam Hygiene Center Presidency. She worked as the Secretary General of the Turkish Microbiology Society and a Turkish delegate in the European Microbiology Federation (FEMS) in 2012-2014. She has published over 100 articles in national and international journals and nearly fifty articles in journals scanned by international indexes. She also has book chapters. Dr. Şöhret Aydemir is married and has a child.
Prof. Dr. Güzide Aksu graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. She completed her Pediatric Health and Diseases specialization training at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital in 1997, and Pediatric Immunology and Pediatric Rheumatology minor training in 2004 at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital, Pediatrics and Diseases USA in 2004 and 2011, respectively. Between 2002-2003, he worked as a "research assistant" in the field of basic immunology and laboratory techniques at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama, USA. She received the title of Associate Professor of Child Health and Diseases in 2006 and the title of professor in 2013. Since 1999, he has been working as a lecturer in charge of service, laboratory, polyclinic in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. Prof. Dr. Güzide Aksu speaks English and German.
Prof. Dr. Kazım Paçacı was born in Gaziantep in 1967 and completed his primary, secondary and high school education in İzmir. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. After completing his Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation specialization training at the same university in 1995, he started to work as a specialist physician in Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1996. He received the title of Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 2004 and the title of professor in 2011. He still continues his clinical, research and education studies as a professor in the field of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and as the vice director of Ege University Rehabilitation and Education Park Research and Application Center for Disabled Children since 2013. prof. Dr. Kazım Çapacı is married and has two daughters.
Assoc. Dr. Haluk Akın was born in Kırıkhan in 1963. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986. He completed his specialty training in 1996, which he started in 1993, and became a Medical Genetics Specialist. After working as a lecturer in Fırat University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology and Genetics for one year between 1996 and 1997, he was appointed as an assistant professor to the same department in 1997. After working as an assistant professor at Fırat University between 1997-2004, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Genetics in 2004. As an associate professor of medical genetics in 2011, Dr. Haluk Akın has directed five postgraduate theses, has 40 publications, 20 of which are in international journals, and 67 papers presented at national and international meetings. Assoc. Dr. Haluk Akın is married and has three children.
Özlem Yıldız was born in 1979 in Istanbul. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in İzmir. She completed her undergraduate education in Adnan Menderes University, School of Health, Department of Nursing in 2001, and her graduate education in the field of "Health Management" at Okan University Health Sciences Institute. She has worked in many fields related to her profession since her graduation. She has work experience in the branches of cardiology, general surgery, internal medicine, anesthesia and reanimation, as well as hematology and oncology. Özlem Yıldız, who is the Tissue and Organ Transplantation Coordinator, continues to work as the coordinator of the Intestinal Insufficiency and Rehabilitation Application and Research Center with the launch of the center.
Social Worker Ali Fuat Bayturan was born in Bingöl in 1967. He completed high school in İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Social Services in 1992. He completed his master's degree with thesis at the Social Sciences Academy of the same university in 1995. He started working at Ankara SSK Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital in 1993. In 1997, he started working at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to her duty here, she also continues her duties in EUTF Child Protection Unit and Child Health and Diseases Department. Ali Fuat Bayturan's fields of work are family interviews and treatments of children receiving treatment in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, school interviews, forensic cases. Family of children who are being treated in the Department of Child Health and Diseases, families of children in need of social assistance and support, and child neglect and abuse issues. Psychologist Yaşar Çelik was born in 1976 in İzmir. He completed his primary and secondary education in İzmir. He graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology in 2001. Between 2001 and 2002, at the Military Academy; Between 2002-2003, at Ege University Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Diseases; He worked at Ege University Child and Adolescent Alcohol-Substance Addiction Research and Application Center (EGEBAM) from its establishment (2003) until 2016. He has been working at Ege University, Department of Child Health and Diseases since 2016. Working places; individual interviews, group therapies, family interviews and tests-evaluations for patients and their relatives. Ayça Etensel was born in Izmir in 1973. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Aydın. She graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Health Sciences, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in 1995. She started to work as a dietitian at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Medical Faculty Hospital in 1996. Ayça Etensel, who is still working at Ege University Medical Faculty Children's Hospital, is married and has a child.
