Prof. Dr. Funda Çetin, was born in Izmir in 1966. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. Pediatric Health and Diseases specialization training at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital; She completed her Pediatric Gastrology, Hepatology and Nutrition minor specialization training at Ege University Medical Faculty Hospital. She received the title of associate professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition from EUTF in 2005 and the title of professor in 2011. Prof. Dr. Funda Çetin, who is still continuing her education, research and clinical studies as the head of the department at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatric Gastrology, Hepatology and Nutrition, speaks English, German and Italian. She was a clinical observer in the field of intestinal failure and intestinal transplantation at the USA Pittsburgh Children's Hospital in 2013 and established the Intestinal Insufficiency and Rehabilitation Application and Research Center in our university in 2015, based on her experience, and still continues to work as the center director.
